Peyton Manning Assault - Never-before-seen footage of Peyton Manning taking the stand in 2003 after being accused of sexual assault by a University of Tennessee athletic trainer was recently released.
Inside Edition obtained video for the segment that included then-coach Dr. Jamie Neright, who felt compelled to make his first television appearance regarding the February 29, 1996 incident.

"The reason I'm here today is because of the bravery and the courage that women have come forward against Harvey Weinstein, the survivors and the victims," Neright told Inside Edition. "And that's really what brought me here today to discuss this matter."

The case stems from Manning visiting the University of Tennessee's practice facility with an injured leg when he was 19 years old. The former Indianapolis Colts quarterback claims it was all just part of a prank with another teammate.
Nerait filed a report with the Sexual Assault Crisis Center, telling a counselor she was "scared for her job, worried and scared for her life."
Neright filed an employment discrimination complaint against the university and received a $300,000 settlement before leaving the following year.
The issue resurfaced in Manning's 2001 autobiography, which prompted a defamation lawsuit against Neright, which also ended in a settlement.

In a statement to Inside Edition, Manning's attorney, Matthew D. McGill, said Greg Johnson, Manning's former roommate at the time, "saw what happened and Peyton did not do what was alleged."
Inside Edition noted that at least one other athlete, who Manning and Neright said was present, says he did not see Johnson in the room.
In the deposition, Manning states, "I briefly pulled my pants down on the so-called 'moon'. One second, 1 1/2 seconds. I pulled my pants up and continued Jamie's exploration of my leg.
"I felt something on my face and Peyton had pulled his shorts up and put his anus and testicles on my face so I pushed him up and he turned around and pulled his shorts up again."

When Inside Edition asked what she saw on Manning's face, she gave a disturbing description, uncharacteristic of the Manning everyone adores.
"It was anger. It was violence. It was definitely a predatory, scary, angry, violent eye that he had."
Regarding the allegations, McGill's additional statement said: "Peyton Manning has been very clear: Jamie Nerwright's allegations are false. When her allegations were first investigated 21 years ago, she told a completely different story . Her checking account was fabricated for several years. later in the first of several frivolous lawsuits against Peyton. Most recently, she left a vulgar and extremely disturbing voicemail for Peyton's mother. Ms. Neright needs to stop this abusive behavior. "
She told Inside Edition exclusively, "I'm on Ambien. And I was sleepwalking and somehow I found this number. And anger and Ambien are not a good combination."
